Our program has been providing swim instruction for residents of Orange County since 1983. Since that time, Golden West has become the premier spot in Orange County to receive quality swim instruction at an affordable price. All instructors are American Red Cross certified in Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR. Our program follows the direction of the American Red Cross and the development and standards for water safety. In addition, Golden West Swim Lessons also incorporate techniques and drills promoted by the United States Swim School Association. We offer classes for all ages (toddler – adult).
2012 SWIM LESSONS:
4 Sessions (We will be closed the week of July 2, 2012)
| We are providing 2 format types this year.
Session 1 and Session 4 will be 1 week (5 days) for 40 minutes a lesson. This format provides the same amount of instruction time as the 2 week format, however in order to accommodate our program for the local schools we are moving our start date to June 25th. Session 2 and Session 3 will be our normal format of two weeks (4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and classes will be on the 30 minute schedule. |
Session 1 – June 25-29
- 5 classes for one week (Monday – Friday)
- 40 minute classes (45 minute classes for Level’s 4 and 5)
- Ratio class size: Preschool Starfish (4:1), Preschool Guppies (5:1), Levels 1-3 (6:1), Level 4 (10:1), Level 5 – Stroke – Water Polo – Parent & Me (12:1), Private Swim Lessons (1:1)
Session 2- July 9-19
- 4 classes per week for two weeks (Monday – Thursday)
- 30 minute classes (45 minute classes for Level’s 4 and 5)
