Our program has been providing swim instruction for residents of Orange County since 1983. Since that time, Golden West has become the premier spot in Orange County to receive quality swim instruction at an affordable price. All instructors are American Red Cross certified in Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR. Our program follows the direction of the American Red Cross and the development and standards for water safety. In addition, Golden West Swim Lessons also incorporate techniques and drills promoted by the United States Swim School Association.  We offer classes for all ages (toddler – adult).

2013 SWIM LESSONS:

We are providing 2 format types this year.Session 1, Session 2 and Session 3 will be our normal format of two weeks and classes will be on the 30 minute schedule.

Session 4 will be 1 week (5 days) for 40 minutes a lesson.

 

Session 1 – June 24-July 3
- 5 classes for one week (Monday – Friday), 3 classes for one week (Monday – Wednesday)
- 30 minute classes (45 minute classes for Level’s 4 and 5)
- Ratio class size: Preschool Starfish/Guppies (5:1), Levels 1-3 (6:1), Level 4 (10:1), Level 5 – Stroke – Water Polo – Parent & Me (12:1), Private Swim Lessons (1:1)

Session 2- July 8-18
- 4 classes per week for two weeks (Monday – Thursday)
- 30 minute classes (45 minute classes for Level’s 4 and 5)
- Ratio class size: Preschool Starfish/Guppies (5:1), Levels 1-3 (6:1), Level 4 (10:1), Level 5 – Stroke – Water Polo – Parent & Me (12:1), Private Swim Lessons (1:1)

Session 3 –  July 22 – Aug 1
- 4 classes per week for two weeks (Monday – Thursday)
- 30 minute classes (45 minute classes for Level’s 4 and 5)
